Public archive
Own A Sentence is a searchable public archive of one million written sentence slots. Each sentence is a short piece of text that can be claimed once, attached to one owner, and shared as a permanent page.
How it works
A submission must consist of one self-contained written expression. In most cases this is a single grammatical sentence. Exceptionally, very short dialogues, aphorisms, historical exchanges, or paired sentences may be accepted when they form one inseparable expression and remain within the platform's character limit.
Global words
The archive is built for English and non-English written sentences, with script-aware moderation for multilingual submissions and community reporting for public safety.

A portion of platform revenue from paid sentence claims is set aside for dog shelters. Every donation is published publicly.
